Australia’s most celebrated sports artist, Brian Clinton, has captured the Test career of Mark Waugh and the individual’s unique character in a meticulously rendered work of art.
The main image reveals the personality and nature of Mark wearing his Test whites in relaxed mood. The intermediate portrait shows Mark acknowledging the crowd with bat raised and baggy green in hand. Also included is a small vignette acknowledging his brilliant One Day performances.
Brought to life in exquisite watercolours, each brushstroke has intimately captured every element in breathtaking detail, ensuring this real life capture of one of Australia’s sporting greats, will stand the test of time. From the stitching on the baggy green, to the cherry marks on the Slazenger, the real-life authenticity of the moments, are accurately conserved.
Each fine art lithograph is reproduced on heavy archival paper stock to enhance longevity. Accentuating the framed option are two presentation matboards and gold filet within a substantial timber frame, and encased in glass. Each is crafted in Taylormade Memorabilia’s own studios under stringent standards of quality control. Every piece is independently authenticated by PricewaterhouseCoopers and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and Limitation.
