His innate ability to read the ruckman’s hands and explode from repeated stoppages has proven unstoppable, powering his team to a top-four berth. Continually building season after season, it was only a matter of time before Wines was up on the podium holding the small but almighty ‘Charlie’ up for the AFL world to revere.
