The Roar in a never say die effort came from two goals down with six minutes of extra time remaining to even the ledger, with it’s final goal in the last 30 seconds, to allow it to go on and secure the victory.

The shootout saw Theoklitos make two match winning saves. This match is already being touted as perhaps the best Hyundai A-League game in history.
