AFL artist Jamie Cooper’s new oil painting, Take the Steps, celebrates Collingwood’s 2023 Premiership in stunning detail. The artwork captures the iconic moment at the MCG when Norm Smith Medalist Bobby Hill strikes the final panel of the finals plinth, igniting pure joy.

Over a year in the making, the piece reflects extensive research, collaboration with coach Craig McRae, and a tribute to the season’s spirit. Rich in symbolism, it features elements like ladders, spray cans, and Maggie McRae, with each detail highlighted in a Certificate of Authenticity.

Take the Steps is more than a painting—it’s a celebration of Collingwood’s triumph, inviting fans to relive the euphoria of 2023’s unforgettable journey to AFL glory.

A limited Edition of 500 framed lithographs on paper have been meticulously produced from the original artwork. Signed and numbered by the artist, Jamie Cooper.
Printed onto 300gsm quality art stock and beautifully finished in black matte board and a black timber frame with gold inner fillet.
A decorative Certificate of Authenticity comes with the piece celebrating Collingwood’s premiership season, showcasing iconic moments, coach Craig McRae’s insights, and the spirit of their remarkable journey.
