Grand Final Day has overwhelmed many first-time players, but not Bobby Hill. On a hot September Saturday, Bobby’s performance was without doubt the difference between triumph and defeat. While the Pies were somewhat wasteful in front of goal in the first half, that didn’t extend to Bobby; four straight in the first half was highlighted by a screamer befitting of a Grand Final. He was outstanding across all four quarters, and the crowd knew it… when the Norm Smith Medal was announced, the crowd showed they completely agreed.
