We’ve all heard the superlatives … elegant, effortless, aristocratic; but what we’ll always remember are the shots … crisp drives, languid leg glances and the straight hits over the offie’s head and over the fence! In the field the images we savour are the trademark collar adjustment just prior to deftly plucking a catch from the air, and what bowler before or since has made it look completely normal to bowl in sunglasses?

In an epic Test career, adorned with every achievement, Mark Edward Waugh provided unbridled enjoyment to cricket lovers all over the world, and especially in Australia.

Australia’s most celebrated sports artist, Brian Clinton, has captured the Test career of Mark Waugh and the individual’s unique character in a meticulously rendered work of art.

The main image reveals the personality and nature of Mark wearing his Test whites in relaxed mood. The intermediate portrait shows Mark acknowledging the crowd with bat raised and baggy green in hand. Also included is a small vignette acknowledging his brilliant One Day performances.

Brought to life in exquisite watercolours, each brushstroke has intimately captured every element in breathtaking detail, ensuring this real life capture of one of Australia’s sporting greats, will stand the test of time. From the stitching on the baggy green, to the cherry marks on the Slazenger, the real-life authenticity of the moments, are accurately conserved.

Each fine art lithograph is reproduced on heavy archival paper stock to enhance longevity. Accentuating the framed option are two presentation matboards and gold filet within a substantial timber frame, and encased in glass. Each is crafted in Taylormade Memorabilia’s own studios under stringent standards of quality control. Every piece is independently authenticated by PricewaterhouseCoopers and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and Limitation.

Each edition is individually hand-signed by Mark Waugh. The artist who captured him so brilliantly, Brian Clinton, has also signed each edition. Each edition is licensed by the ACB, making this a definitive, officially recognised Mark Waugh collectable.
