On Sunday, March 23, Australians applauded their cricket team as they defeated India in the final of the 2003 Cricket World Cup. In a rousing 6-week performance, the Australian team went through the tournament undefeated.

In March, 2002, Ricky Ponting became just the 16th Australian to be named as captain of his country’s One Day International side. Always one of the most exciting and quickest-scoring One Day players in the world, his appointment freshened the team and helped continue their reign as the dominant force in limited-overs cricket.

Presented in a bold modern design, this limited edition lithograph features Ricky’s player number featured in raised, 3-D relief within an arresting presentation capturing the dynamic strokeplay of the Aussie captain, and the colour and excitement of One Day international cricket.

Each lithograph is reproduced on heavy archival paper stock using light-fast inks to maximize longevity. Available handsomely framed or unframed, every piece is independently authenticated by PricewaterhouseCoopers who issue a Certificate of Authenticity and Limitation.
