In Back to the Future (1985), Michael J. Fox plays Marty McFly, who travels back in time to 1955. During a high school dance, Marty is accidentally called upon to perform a song with the band. He takes the stage and plays Chuck Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode.” Marty’s electrifying performance of the classic rock ‘n’ roll song leaves the crowd stunned, though his rendition is anachronistic for the era, causing him to influence the future of rock music. This scene has become iconic for Fox’s energetic performance and the time-traveling twist on musical history.
