Description
Richmond Tigers – Famous Number 8 Signed & Framed Guernsey JACK RIEWOLT & MICHAEL ROACH
Michael Roach was a player who was loved by all of the Tiger faithful. His big marking, and his long accurate goalkicking were the reasons why he was the dominant forward in Richmond’s succesful era of the 80’s. He was by far the No.1 forward in the VFL throughout the 80’s, winning two Coleman Medals, including 1980 where he kicked 107 goals and also was part of the Richmond’s last premiership.
Jack Riewoldt is a player who is loved by all of the Tiger faithful. His leaping ability and, like Roach, long accurate kicking are the reasons why he is one of, if not the, most exciting forward in todays game. He also has two Coleman medals under his belt from 2010 and 2012. His most memorable game was his 10 goal effort against West Coast in Round 12, 2010 at the MCG.
They are the only two VFL/AFL players to wear the same number (No.8) at the same club and achieve two Colemans medals.
