Congratulations to the Sydney Roosters on their 13th Premiership, defeating a gallant Sea Eagles outfit. The victory cemented the Roosters claim as the strongest and most consistent side of the 2013 NRL Telstra Premiership season, following their 17th Minor Premiership in September. It has been 11 seasons since the Roosters last held the Provan Summons Trophy aloft, with captain Anthony Minichiello the only remaining player from their previous triumph in 2002. Setting the benchmark both offensively and defensively this season, the Sydney Roosters are a most deserving winner of the 2013 NRL Telstra Premiership.
