In Round 22 of the 1991 season, a young man debuted for the Roosters, coming off the bench after having played reserve grade that day. That young man went on to become a ‘300-gamer’ — an extraordinary achievement — and to captain the club he served so loyally. Representative honours were also his, but it tells only a part of the incredible story.
