In a dramatic edition of the ‘Great Race’ at the famous Mount Panorama circuit, Walkinshaw Andretti United overcame momentous adversity to triumph in the last race of the Supercars calendar. Reacting to a tyre delamination in early stages and tumbling from pole to 12th position, Mostert and Holdsworth pieced together a series of extraordinary stints in their magnificent ZB Commodore to claim one of the most coveted triumphs in Australian motorsport. In a spectacular display of speed, endurance and determination, this victory marked yet another chapter of glory for the perennial legacy of ‘The Roaring Lion’.
