In terms of credentials – Brian Lara has won the world record for the highest Test score not once, but twice and his unbeaten 400 against England in the 4th Test 2004 is the greatest Test innings recorded, with his incredible 501 no in 1994 setting the first-class benchmark. Sachin Tendulkar is a modern-day cricketing genius and arguably the greatest player India has produced, with his style likened to Bradman by Bradman himself! Steve Waugh, the most-capped player in Test history, represented his country 168 times and scored centuries against every Test-playing nation. As only the third player to score 10,000 Test runs, Waugh led Australia to an extraordinary 41 victories from 57 Tests to become the most successful captain to wear the baggy green.
